This May, Dublin Dance Festival presents a groundbreaking event: Disco Neurotico: a neurodivergent-led dance party and inclusive chill-out experience, created by and for the neurodivergent community.

What is Disco Neurotico?
Disco Neurotico is redefining clubbing for the nervous and neurodivergent. Created by and for neurodivergent people, this event is designed to be inclusive, safe, and joyful. It celebrates diversity in how we experience fun, socialising, and sensory input.
Ready to dance? Great. Want to doodle on a UV wall? Amazing. Prefer a quiet corner with board games? That’s also great. It doesn’t matter what your preferences are, there’s a place for you here.
As one previous attendee put it: “It felt like coming home”.
What to Expect at Disco Neurotico?
- Silent Disco with three music channels, including local DJs SAZ and JWY
- Optional guided warm-up (7:30–8:15 PM) to ease you into the night
- UV Doodle Wall for creative expression
- Board games curated by NeuroGamers Ireland
- Video games, crafts, and a Chill-out Lounge
- Two Sensory Zones:
- Upstairs: High sensory (music, lights, disco)
- Downstairs: Low sensory (quiet, games, rest)
- Wellness Officers and a Recovery Room onsite
